Original copperplate engraving of a design by opulent furniture designer & engraver Daniel Marot (1661-1752). This is a fine engraving from a collection on beautiful architectural ornamentation of 16th, 17th and 18th century apartments in Paris.  Printed by Charles Chardon, and published by Georges Rapilly in Paris circa 1863 (with later hand-colour).
