Original fine stipple and line engraved copperplate, with head and obverse representing important historic people. Engraved by Etienne Louis Crepy (c1700-1759) and printed on hand-laid paper for publication by Tissot in 1775. This lovely engraving has fine later hand-colour, which certainly adds to the appeal.

Size to intaglio impression is 195 x 160mm (7.75 x 6.25 inches). Page size is 305 x 210mm (12 x 8.25 inches).
