Chloe Preston colour-printed lithograph for The Peek-a-Boos' Holiday, written by her brother, Tom Preston, and published in London circa 1912.

Chloe Preston was born in 1887 and grew up in a gentrified English country environment. Illustrations for her first book "The Peek-a-Boos", were published in London in 1910.  The clear simple outlines and bright colours of her humorous images portray simple excursions and activities that everyone can relate to and enjoy.
