Original hand-coloured copperplate engraving drawn, engraved and published in London c1815 by Richard Polydore Nodder (RP Nodder) (1774-1823) for George Shaw's "Naturalist's Miscellany". R.P. Nodder was artist to King George III.
This small engraving measures 12 x 11cm ((4 3/4 x 4 3/8 inches) to the platemark. Page size is 13.5 x 13cm (9 1/4 x 5 1/8 inches). It has been mounted in 'antique white' conservation matt board, and covered with cellophane for protection. The external measurement for framing is 27 x 24cm (10.6 x 9.5 inches).
