Original hand-coloured copperplate engraving with contemporary colour (from time of printing) for “Flora Londinensis containing a history of the plants indigenous to Great Britain, illustrated by figures of the natural size” published in London between 1817 and 1828 by George Graves F.L.S. and eminent botanist, (Sir) William Jackson Hooker (1785-1865).

Page Size: 48 x 29cm (19 x 11.5 inches). The plate marks varied in size, for the series of beautiful plates of this enlarged edition which used many of the images from the earlier work by William Curtis. If you would like further details, please ask.
