Keulemans del. (delineated) for Ornithological Miscellany by George Dawson Rowley, published between 1875 and 1878. John Gerrard Keulemans (1842-1912) moved from Holland to London in 1869 to gain more work in the field of bird illustration. JG Keulemans was one of the finest natural history artists of his time, portraying his subjects sympathetically and with scientific accuracy.

This lithograph is in good condition except for a spot on left of image and slight age soiling around the edges. Page size is 365 x 250 mm (14 3/8 x 9 3/4 inches).
