Original hand coloured steel engraving by Edinburgh engraver William Home Lizars (1788-1859). Published in London circa 1840 for a series on gallinaceous birds: 'Game Birds of the World'.

This tiny engraving is mounted in 'antique white' acid-free boards and ready for framing.
Size of engraving is 7 x 4.5 inches or 18 x 11cm:  Mounted size is 11.5 x 8.5 inches or 29 x 22cm
