Fine original hand-coloured copperplate engravings by Pauquet Suites a Buffon, published in Paris circa 1830 by Bernard Germain Etienne de la Ville sur Illon, Comte de Lacepede (1756-1825).

Plate measure 245 x 160mm (9.6 x 6.25 inches). Finely engraved and hand-coloured, these plates always have slight soiling in our experience. Perhaps it is an indication of their popularity and handling.. Prices always reflect condition.
