Original lithograph printed in colour by Vincent Brooks, Day & Son after a drawing by Joseph Williamson Ludlow (1840-1916) for the Illustrated Book of Poultry by Lewis Wright, first published in London by Cassell circa 1873. This later edition was published circa 1880.
