Original colour-printed lithograph for The Indian Ducks and Their Allies published in London circa 1908 by E. C. Stuart Baker. In 1869 fellow ornithologist and colleague of John Gould, Richard Bowdler Sharp persuaded the well-travelled Dutchman J.G. Keulemans to move from where he was working in Brussels, to London which at that time the most important centre for grand publications with fine bird illustrations.

This antique lithograph is in fine condition. It is printed on thick paper with a buff-coloured background.

Size approximately 17 x 26.5 cm (6 5/8 x 10 3/8 inches).
