Fine steel engraving of Queen Elizabeth I from a 1592 miniature painting by Isaac Oliver, incorporating the Earl of Leicester, Sir Walter Raleigh, and the historic occasion of Queen Mary's escape from Lochleven Castle in 1568. This wonderful engraving is decorated in the typical style of Tallis publishers c1853.

Unfortunately there is a repair across the middle of this print and it is considerably soiled. It is still a wonderful depiction of the period and Queen Elizabeth I. Print size is 27.5 x 21cm.
