Original colour-printed lithograph after a drawing by a prominent member of the Victorian natural history scene, F.W. Frohawk (1861-1946), who was an English artist - mainly of birds and insects. This brightly-coloured lithograph was printed in colour and published in London circa 1896 for Foreign Finches in Captivity by Arthur G. Butler.

This colourful bird lithograph fills the page. There is archival reinforcement of a tiny tear at the base. 27 x 18 cm (10.5 x 7 inches)
