Original colour-printed lithograph after a drawing by a prominent member of the Victorian natural history scene, Frederick W. Frohawk (1861-1946), who was an English artist - mainly of birds and insects. This brightly-coloured lithograph was printed in colour and published in London circa 1896 for Foreign Finches in Captivity by Arthur G. Butler.

This is a very pretty bird lithograph, 27 x 18 cm (10.5 x 7 inches)
