Original chromolithograph after a drawing by Jean Bungartz for A. Nuyens’ Dutch ornithological work "De Vogelwereld. Handboek voor liefhebbers van kamer-en parkvogels" (Bird World. Handbook for Lovers of Domestic and Park Birds) published in Groningen (Netherlands) circa 1886 by J. B. Wolters. Nuyens was quite well known in Holland as the editor of the magazine "Onze Gevederde Vrienden" (Our Feathered Friends).

Page size approximately 375 x 275mm (14.3/4 x 11.3/4 inches). The lithograph colour is much brighter than the scanned image shows.
