Antique Print of 19th century architectural elevation and floorplan.

Original steel engraving by English painter, illustrator, engraver and printer, Albert Henry Payne (1812-1902), illustrating the drawings of the “thoroughly practical architect” and surveyor Edward Lance Tarbuck (1828-1906) whose practical designs were used to construct many 19th century buildings in England and Wales. Many still survive today.
Published in London for English Architecture by Gardner and Son c.1850, with later hand-colour.  A.H. Payne worked in Leipzig from 1838 until his death.

The size of this engraved page is 27 x 8cm (10.5 x 8 inches).
