Antique print. Don Balthazar, 'Infante of Spain' after the painting by Velasquez... shown as a pupil of La Haute Ecole, the "high school" of equestrian instruction, denoting that the riding school strove to develop a horse's natural talents, its mental and physical abilities, and to establish discipline and understanding in relationships and interaction with a horse.
