Delightful chromolithograph printed by Wyman & Sons Ltd for A Handbook to the Order Lepidoptera by W.F. Kirby, Assistant in the Zoological Department of the British Museum. Published in London between 1894 and 1897. The coloured butterflies stand out beautifully against the uncoloured habitat background.
