Richard Polydore Nodder (1774-1823) was artist to King George III. The scientific accuracy, depth of tone, and quality of Nodder engravings have always been appreciated. It is particularly difficult to locate antique prints of Australian insects.

This plate is cleaner than most early 19th century antique prints on fine paper. Approximate size is 235 x 140mm (9 1/4 x 5 1/2inches).
