Original antique print of Jabirus for Zoological Lectures delivered at the Royal Institution by George Shaw, M.D. F.R.S. &c. with plates from the firft Authorities and most select specimens, with later hand-colour. George Shaw (1751-1813), was one of the founding members of the Linnean Society of London. He was appointed Assistant Keeper of the Natural History section of the British Museum in 1807 and remained in the post until his death. He gave lectures to the Royal Institution twice, in 1807 and 1808. 

Slight foxing towards right edge, but otherwise in very good condition. Page size is 145 x 230mm (approx. 5 3/4 x 9 1/8 inches)
