A very nice original antique (A4-size) map of Ireland, drawn and engraved by William Hughes; published in London circa 1850, with fine later hand-colour of the four main regions and border, with the main regions outlined in pen as would have been done at the time.

This map has slight soiling and a crease across top right corner, but is otherwise in good condition. The page measures 275 x 215mm (10 7/8 x 8 1/2 inches). To the map border measures approximately 245 x 192mm (9 1/2 x 7 5/8 inches). Please note that the engraved map extends across the left hand border.
