Mid-19thC clearly delineated decorative antique map of Ireland.
 
Original antique (A4-size) map of Ireland, drawn and engraved by William Hughes, with contemporary pen outlining of the four main regions (at the time of publication) in London circa 1850 - with fine later hand-wash highlighting. At lower left, the map and wording extends slightly (rather artistically) through the border.

This map has faint soiling, mainly of the page extremities, as is not surprising considering its age.
The page measures 275 x 215mm (10 7/8 x 8 1/2 inches). To the map border measures approximately 245 x 192mm (9 1/2 x 7 5/8 inches).
