Original engraved map published c1812. Printed on thick paper with contemporary colour outlining of the regions shown. This fine map was drawn by Giraldon, and engraved by Chamouin at Rue de la Harpe No.35 in Paris, for Geographer to the King of France, cartographer Pierre Lapie (1771-1851).

Page size is 255 x 340 mm (10 x 13 3/8 inches). To map border measures 225 x 300 mm (8 7/8 x 11 3/4 inches). This map has slight age-soiling, and a small tear at lower edge of page - not protruding into the border of the map, so it will not show when framed. Priced appropriately.
