Original map engraved on steel (with contemporary outlining to landmasses, and colour to ocean) by mapmaker-hydrographer, Alexander Findlay for his Modern Atlas published by William Tegg & Co., London, circa 1853.

This is obviously from a well-loved publication! "Prussia" and a little doodle on the reverse in Indian ink (fortunately not showing through to front). Quite an attractive and inexpensive antique map.
