Antique Map of New Zealand with inset of Tasmania or Van Diemen's Land. Original lithograph map with offset printed colour, published in 1894 by George Cram. This is an attractive antique map of the late 19th century, with 32 county references in the North Island, and 31 county references in the South Island. Outside the left border is further listed information on New Zealand: area, population and map references for the chief cities of the time; together with the similar statistical references for Tasmania.

Geo. Cram was a prolific map publishing house in the late 1800s. His small maps were continually being revised and reissued, with individual short print runs. On the reverse are two small maps of West Australia and South Australia.
