This is wonderful large map, published for the most comprehensively illustrated historical and descriptive publication on Australia and neighbouring islands, Picturesque Atlas of Australasia, published in Sydney between 1886 and 1888 by the Picturesque Atlas Publishing Company, to commemorate 100 years of European settlement in Australia.

This map has wide borders, but unfortunately our scanner is not large enough to show these.
