Interesting antique map. Queensland Railways, Post, Telegraph lines c1888. (1/3 of same map. Please pay for 1 only :)

Original antique map engraved by A.H. Everson after the drawing by A.J. Scally, with information on the previous year’s rainfall by Clement L. Wragge, the Government Meteorologist. This antique chart was published by the Picturesque Atlas Publishing Company for the most comprehensively illustrated historical and descriptive publication on Australia and neighbouring Pacific islands Picturesque Atlas of Australasia published between 1886 and 1888 to commemorate 100 years of settlement in Australia.

This map is in good condition, with very slight age tone along central folds and minimal turn-up of extreme edges. Map size is approximately 80 x 60cm and page size approx. 1,100 x 700cm (with a number of folds to accommodate the size of the publication.  The map has wide borders, but unfortunately our scanner is not large enough to show these.
