Fiji Islands large map (Australia - New Zealand inset).

This is wonderful large map by Alexander J. Scally was published for the most comprehensively illustrated historical and descriptive 19th century publication on Australia and neighbouring islands, Picturesque Atlas of Australasia. Edited by Andrew Garran, it was published  between 1886 and 1888 by the Picturesque Atlas Publishing Company, to commemorate 100 years since the arrival of the First Fleet and their settlement in Australia at Port Jackson, Sydney.

It is difficult to obtain a good image of this large map. It has a vertical fold down the middle as it was published across two pages of a large publication. Approximate external measurements are 44 x 64 cm (17.25 x 25.25 inches).
