Superb raised leather pictorial design on dark red leather front and back covers and spine, with gilt title on spine and front cover.Slightly rubbed on corners and edges. Slight damage to top of slightly faded spine.Glued linen endpapers. Gilt page edges. Good condition throughout, though with a little foxing and ageing to some page extremities. This is a superb bookbinding, of a style rarely seen today.
