Original hand-coloured engraving by Swan after a drawing by eminent botanist, William Jackson Hooker (1785-1865). Published circa 1834 for Samuel Curtis and the "Curtis Botanical Magazine", one of the longest running botanical publications - begun in 1787, published continuously for over 222 years.
