This original chart was published for the most comprehensively illustrated historical and descriptive publication on Australia and neighbouring islands, Andrew Garran's “Picturesque Atlas of Australiasia”, published between 1886 and 1888 by the Picturesque Atlas Publishing Company to commemorate 100 years of settlement in Australia. The size of this map with vertical fold, as issued, is 44 x 66cm (17.5 x 26 inches). The map has wide borders, but unfortunately our scanner is not large enough to show these.
