Original copper-engraved map circa 1771 by Louis Brion de la Tour (fl. 1756-1803), for Atlas Historique et Geographique published Paris circa 1766 by Louis Desnos (appointed globe-maker to King of Denmark & fl. 1750-1790 as globe-maker & mapmaker in Paris). This lovely map has been engraved on hand-made paper, and has a finely engraved cartouche (title piece).
