General Zoology or Systematic Natural History by George Shaw. M.D.F.R.S.  c1805

 From the rare collection of  copperplate engravings which were originally published for the work  “Zoological Lectures” delivered at the Royal Institution in London by George Shaw.  These images were engraved by the famous Mr Griffiths and his assistants. Whilst they were published in black & white this image has later hand colouring.

The size of each image is 9” x 5” or( 23 x 13cm)
