This is a reproduction printed in colour from an hand-coloured wood engraving originally published for the “Picturesque Atlas of Australasia” between 1886-1889 (and reissued in 1892).

This grand publication was compiled to commemorate the centenary of settlement in Australia (1788). We have many views of cities, towns, buildings, and general subjects showing the discovery, early settlement and the development of Australia, New Zealand and the adjacent islands.

The size of this view is 6.1/2”x 11” or 16 x 28cm
