The artist, Chateau subject, and origin of this lovely watercolour are unknown. It is a lovely scene nevertheless.

In the lower right hand corner is written "Voisins" and what appears to be a signature with a date of 1912.

The waterceolour has been glued along the top to a back board of heavy paper. The watercolour measures 215 x 345mm (8.1/2 x 13.1/2 inches). The backboard is 285 x 445mm (11.1/4 x 17.1/2 inches).
