Fitzgerald print of orchids Corunastylis apostasioides, Prasophyllum Deanianum, and Prasophyllum Baueri, with the usual wonderful flower dissections.
Rare reproduction from the hand-coloured lithograph "On Stone by Arthur J. Stopps" (1833-1931) after a drawing “from Nature by RD Fitzgerald FLS", the eminent botanist Robert David Fitzgerald (who was also O.B.E., F.I.S.A. )(1830-1892) for “Orchids of Australia” originally Printed at the Surveyor General's Office in Sydney, N.S.W. in August 1886. This print is in fine condition. Page size is 470mm x 320mm (18.1/2 inches x 12.1/2 inches), full size as published for the Limited Edition of 350 by Lansdowne Editions in 1977.
