Fitzgerald’s Australian Spider Orchids.
Rare reproduction from the hand-coloured lithograph "On Stone by Arthur J. Stopps" (1833-1931) after a drawing “from Nature by RD Fitzgerald F.L. S.", the eminent botanist Robert David Fitzgerald (who was also O.B.E., F.I.S.A. )(1830-1892) for “Orchids of Australia” originally Printed at the Surveyor General's Office in Sydney, N.S.W. in May 1883. This print is in fine condition, full size as published for the Limited Edition of 350 by Lansdowne Editions in 1977. We have a number of other orchids from this series.
