Limited Edition of 750. Reproduction from a copperplate engraving by Ambroise Tardieu, drawn by Hacq, for Louis Duperrey’s “Voyage autour du Monde.. Atlas Hydrographie” published in Paris circa 1824, a narrative of Duperrey's voyages that included the latest new charts from surveys around the world at that time. Soon after charting the Brisbane River, John Oxley became Surveyor-General of the Australian colony then known as New South Wales.
