One of the first keyboard instruments, this is a chromolithograph by William Gibb for “Musical
Instruments - Historic, Rare and Unique” by Alfred James Hipkins
(1826-1903), published in Edinburgh, circa 1888 by Adam and Charles
Black. Gibb's lithographs are considered the finest illustrations of
musical instruments even today. This fine lithograph is from the rare
first edition. Ex library edition, but the library stamp does not
obtrude over the image. See pic.
This delightful image is currently mounted front and back with acid-free 'antique white' coloured mattboard, and protective cellophane cover. Price: $132.00 (AUD) inc GST |
