Clarson (first secretary of the Art Society of New South Wales), of the first ‘balloon’s eye’ panorama of Brisbane, published 30th August ,1888 for the “Supplement to the The Illustrated Sydney News”. This large aerial image presents a fascinating view of Brisbane’s early urban development.
