From the rare collection of  copperplate engravings which were originally published for “Zoological Lectures” delivered at the Royal Institution in London by George Shaw.  These images were engraved by the famous Mr Griffiths and his assistants. 

Published in black & white this image has been finely hand-tinted with watercolour.
