Antique engraving of one of Brisbane's First Churches in the Moreton Bay Settlement of New South Wales.

Original wood engraving c1886, after a sketch by William Fitler (1857-1915) for Picturesque Atlas of Australasia published in Sydney between 1886 and 1888 to illustrate the discovery and development of Australia, and commemorate 100 years since the First Fleet settled at Port Jackson, Sydney Harbour.

This engraving has been hand-tinted with watercolour at some time since publication. An original antique print, mounted between antique-white ragmat conservation board and covered with cellophane for presentation and protection, ready for framing. Size of engraving is 9 x 10cm (3 1/2 x 4 inches). External mount size is 22 x 24cm (8 5/8 x 9 1/2 inches).
