Superb rare antique map of France circa 1635 by Hondius. Burgundy, with Lake Geneva. (North is on right side of the map).

Original copperplate engraved map by Jodocus Hondius for "Mercators" atlas: containing his Cosmographicall Description of the Fabricke & Figure of the World" Published in London for the first English edition in circa 1635. This map has beautiful early colour and large borders though they do not show in the image.
