Pretty little hand-coloured engraving of shells by Sowerby c1825.

The finest little engravings of shells were those by the Sowerby family of natural history illustrators for “The Genera of Recent & Fossil Shells, for the Use of Students in Conchology and Geology” published between 1821 and 1825 by James Sowerby (1757-1822). Most of the fine steel engravings were by his second son, George Brettingham Sowerby (1788-1854), who completed publication of the work.
