Original copperplate engraving by C. Warren, of the drawing by painter and naval draughtsman, Piron (active 1791-1793), after a sketch by Harding. Published April 20 1800 by John Debrett of Piccadilly, for the Voyage in Search of La Perouse.
It is an excellent engraving on soft but thick paper. The base is cropped along the base of the publishing details.
