Beautiful Architectural Design antique print of cross-section elevation of Venuta Di Dentro Overo Spaccato Del Palazzo di Sto Spirito Architettura Di Ottaviano Mascherini. circa 1655.
Original copperplate engraving by Battista Falda (1648-1678) of a building designed by the famous architect Ottaviano Mascherini. Published in Rome by the eminent Giovanni Giacomo de Rossi, circa 1655. These classical designs were used in the construction of actual buildings, a few of which still survive today.
This rare engraving is in very good condition considering its age.
Size of engraving to plate mark is 8” x 15” (20 x 38cm). Full page size is 14” x 18.1/2” (35 x 47cm)
