Original map engraved by geographer-cartographer Auguste-Henri Dufour for Albert Lenoir, with map information of popular French historian, writer and educator Charles Rollin (1661-1741). Published in Paris circa 1838 for Atlas de l'Histoire Romain de Rollin (Atlas of Roman History by Rollin). This map has contemporary red pen dots on important locations, and additional later hand-colour.

This map has two horizontal folds to accommodate a smaller publication. It is in good condition except for slight age soiling along creases and towards edge of page. The page measures 34 x 26cm (13 3/8 x 10 1/4 inches). To the map border measures 30 x 21cm (11 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches).
